Just ok. Service was good. Complimentary Garlic knots were good. Side salad was bigger than expected. Chicago Deep Dish pizza was just not up to par. First off, deep dish apparently means very thick crust with very thin toppings. Cheese wasn't near enough to even cover the pizza and very skimpy on the pepperoni and mushrooms. It was tasty, but definitely not "deep dish".

I have been here 4 times in 9 years and I say I will never go back but-this was definitly was my last time. They are always disorganized, they have to many tables, they never have your take out when they say they will, they are crazy over expensive and I swear they reuse food! I understand they give you garlic bread, but the food is so so, they over charge and they are miserable - the service just stinks! If you go you have been warned!

Went to this restaurant with my family of 2 kids to try their pizza and boy were we disappointed! We waited for an hour and no pizza to be seen. My poor boys were falling asleep on the table from all the waiting. Server kept coming by and saying "it's coming I promise". We sat down at the same time as the table next to us. They ordered, got served their pizza, ate, and were paying when I had enough. After all that waiting my family and I had to walk out, the server didn't even offer us to take it to go or nothing...they simply don't care. The funny thing is that my order only consisted of 1 large pepperoni pizza....unbelievable!! Will never go back.

Decent service, small restaurant. Pizza is hand tossed but they are skimpy on the cheese. Even when asking for extra cheese it's still skimpy. Sauce is not pucker sour which I loved and the sausage has a great flavor. Would go again, but not something I couldn't live without. My Mama loved it

Great pizza. Kids especially love the little garlic bread knots and sauce. We were all craving some pizza. Found this on Yelp but did have a little trouble finding the place. Well worth it!!

Best pizza EVER in the area. Period! And I am Italian! And the server is Sharon. Very friendly people! If you know nothing about pizza just go eat some place else.

Contrary to another reviewer, I grew up in NJ and lived in NY for 7 years, and have lived here in Florida for 3 years. I have gone to several pizza places trying to find great pizza, and I found it here at Bravo. Their pizza has a thin, crispy crust and is just yummy! We haven't tried any of the Italian dishes as of yet (they do seem a bit overpriced for this kind of place), but were very, very pleased with the pizza and the complimentary garlic knots. I will be getting my pizza here from now on.

Had a great to go pizza at Bravo tonight. It was our first visit and we will defiantly return. Don't know why this place has only 3 stars. We had the deep dish half pepperoni, sausage and mushroom and half mushroom, spinach. Not a greasy crust as some are. Enjoyed a beer while we waited for our order- frosty mug:) Wait staff was helpful and friendly.

Well, if you are from the NY/NJ area, you will be readily disappointed by their pizzas. $21 for a sausage and extra cheese pie? And as for the extra cheese...hardly! The dough doesn't taste freshly tossed (probably isn't) - almost reminds me of a Pizza Hut pizza. Bland and boring. Toppings also sucked. Cheese tasted extremely processed and the sauce was from a can. OK, I know this is FL, but this place could try harder. Was it bad? Not so much, but it was not pizza like I know it up north. Oh, and the young guy with the shaped eyebrows behind the counter apparently not on the clock pouring himself and drinking wine in front of the customers was real tacky and displayed poor customer service. Blah.

Holy Ravioli! Ok...so I don't think they have Ravioli here... but the Eggplant Parm is to die for. Yes, the pizza is outrageously priced and yes, the inside of this place is crammed with tables and chairs (and old people) But the food is awesome! Do yourself a favor and take advantage of one of their lunch specials. You wont regret it!

Whenever I come to visit my parents in the Villages, I usually make a few trips to this place. Not just because I'm bound to driving around in a golf cart and its a stone's throw from a cart part in Sumter Landing , but the pizza and calzones are actually quite delicious. The veggies and other ingredients in made-to-order calzones are fresh except for the canned mushrooms (yuck!) . The complimentary super garlicky knots with homemade marinara are well worth the wait, although the service is pretty quick anyway.

Pizza was very good, but service was definitely lacking. Beer served in a plastic mug was also very interesting.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
